Less is More

Lesson # 3:  Don’t See Him More than 3-4 Times Per Week

Once you have narrowed down your search to the prime candidate, you must pace the frequency of your dates and/or face-time with him.  We’ve all heard the expression, “Why buy the cow when you can have the milk for free?”  The bottom line:  a man must learn that in order to see you more than 3-4 times a week and/or see you on short-notice, he must marry you.  Thanks to Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider, this is the number one advice that I give to my girlfriends.

Lesson # 4:  No Sex Until Monogamy and Exclusivity

Patti Stanger has a point when she says this over and over on her shows.  Studies have shown that men often do not marry women with whom they have sex early on in relationships.  Ladies, the question is do you want to be someone’s date or someone’s wife?  Enough said.

At this stage of the dating process, the person you are dating is the prime candidate.  Why do I use the term, “prime candidate”?  The reason is simple.  If you are going to give (and I do emphasize the word, “give”) a man the best of years of your life, your mind, your body, your soul, your time, your energy, your loyalty, and your commitment, he better be worth it.  He must be something special for you to devote your life to him and (collectively) your family.

This is not a dress rehersal, ladies–this is your life.  Your duty to yourself is to select the best candidate with whom you may share your life.
